Questions
Is a payment receipt legally required?
For many payments it isn’t mandatory, but a receipt is the simplest proof of payment for both sides. Businesses registered under GST issue a receipt voucher for advances.
Should I write the amount in words?
Yes. It prevents the amount being altered. The tool writes it out in the Indian system, for example “Rupees Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Only”.
Is my data stored anywhere?
Only in your own browser, so the form is filled in next time you visit. Nothing is sent to a server. Use Clear form to remove it, for example on a shared computer.
Can I write in Hindi or another Indian language?
Not in this version. The PDF uses standard fonts that only cover English letters, so ₹ is written as “Rs.” and other scripts show as “?”. The marriage biodata maker does support every Indian language.
