How to use the QR code generator

Some QR services make “dynamic” codes that send every scan through their own server first, so the code depends on that service staying available. Codes made here contain your link or details directly, so they keep working for as long as the link does.

  1. Choose what the code is for: a link, UPI payment, Wi-Fi, phone or email.
  2. Fill in the details. The code updates as you type.
  3. Pick the size and colours. Keep a dark code on a light background.
  4. Download a PNG for screens or an SVG for sharp printing, and test-scan it before sharing.

Questions

Do these QR codes expire?
No. The information is stored in the code itself, so it works as long as your link, UPI ID or Wi-Fi details stay the same.
Can people pay me with the UPI QR code?
It creates a standard UPI payment link that UPI apps can read. Always test it with a small payment to yourself before printing it for customers.
What does damage resistance mean?
Higher levels let the code scan even if part of it is dirty, torn or covered by a logo, but make the code denser.
Is anything I type sent to a server?
No. Everything is generated in your browser.
